Following the popularity of my books on the Boys Killed in Belgium, I have now produced a 2 volume set, A4 format, covering over 420 soldiers known to be aged between 15 and 17 and the 18 year-old Officers on nearly 600 pages. The books are richly illustrated with photographs of the individuals, where possible, contemporary photographs and illustrations, many in colour, to accompany the stories and maps to assist in following an action or battle.
For each individual I have written a cameo that includes information relating to their family background, education, employment and interests, where possible, which is followed by their service during the war.
In addition to the fascinating stories, in Volume II, there is an extensive illustrated section on the construction and inauguration of Thiepval Memorial. That is followed by a section giving a short illustrated biography of the Field Marshals and Generals that are mentioned in the text of the stories I have written.
