In Continuing & Grateful Memory - La Brique Nos 1 & 2 and Talana Farm

This book is the third in the triology based on the Essex Farm Sector. My original plan was to publish one book on the six cemeteries, Essex Farm, Duhallow ADS, Bard Cottage, La Brique Nos 1 and 2, and Talana Farm. As I was undertaking the research it was clear that I had to split the publication into three as I had far too many boys and men to write about. A total of eighty-six individual stories are related that allows you to follow them from England to service in the Western Front and for some who also served with the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force in Gallipoli and Egypt. For those men, and boys, who served not just on the Ypres Salient you can follow their service in France in particular to trace their service on the ground. I have detailed where their officers who died are buried as well as many of their comrades that provides you with the opportunity of bringing their story together and is more meaningful.
