17 who gave their lives during the First World War and are commemorated
on the Menin Gate. It is a companion to Volume 1 that covers those
buried in the cemeteries of Belgium. As with Volume 1 some stories of 18
year old officers are included to illustrate how young so many of the
officers were who came straight from school to command troops on the
Western Front.
It is also an ideal companion to the Menin Gate triology.
